How I Got To Family Preschool

My son attended FPS in 2016 as a 3 year old, and I fell in love with the co-op led, close-knit community and Project based learning. I joined the 4&5 day teaching team in 2015 and have enjoyed every day at FPS since!

Interesting Fact

My educational background is in art therapy, counseling and art education. As an art therapist I have worked in mental health. As an art educator, I worked as a high school fine arts teacher in Ghana as a Peace Corps Volunteer. I also love preschool art/art making!

Most Important Teaching Lesson Learned

Things often do not go as you have planned. When this happens take a deep breath and let it go. Then try to find joy in what is happening.

What I Like About Working at Family Preschool

There is nothing I love more than when a preschooler accomplishes something they have been working on or learning. I also love getting to share these accomplishments with families!
