When I am not teaching Bumblebees, I am soaking up every minute I can with my children, usually getting messy.

How I Got To Family Preschool

I was looking for a project and play based preschool for my 3 year old daughter and there happened to be a teacher opening for 1 year olds at the time so we started at FPS together. One of the best decisions I've ever made!

Interesting Fact

On a whim, I love to put our sleeping kids in the car at 2am and drive to the beach to watch the sunrise together while they are all sleepy and snuggly.

Most Important Teaching Lesson Learned

If you create a "yes" environment and take a step back, kids will teach you more than you teach them. I always ask myself "why not?" before saying no and if there isn't a really good reason, let them learn!

"What Do You Do With an Idea?" Everytime I read it, it takes on a whole new meaning depending on what phase of life I'm in.

What I Like About Working at Family Preschool
